The producer was also joined by Robyn during his Woodsies Stage set on Friday Jamie xx was joined by The xx bandmates Romy and Oliver Sim during his Glastonbury 2024 set. The trio reunited on the Woodsies Stage yesterday (June 28) when the ‘In Waves’ producer led his set into ‘Waited All Night’, a track off his forthcoming sophomore album that features both Romy and Sim. They went on to perform Jamie xx’s 2009 rework of Florence + the Machine ‘s ‘You’ve Got the Love’, which itself a cover of the classic 1986 house song by The Source and Candi Staton.
Before they took their leave, fans also watched Romy and Sims take part in a group hug with Jamie. Social media users on Twitter/X shared their excitement at the reunion of the indie pop trio, who last performed together as a band in 2018. “That set was unbelievable from Jamie xx,” tweeted X user @L18SDL.
