Romesh Ranganathan brought the house down as he played the sold-out Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Thursday as part of his Hustle tour. The popular funnyman performed in the city on Thursday evening and had his fans in stitches during his hilarious two-hour set. The TV star, who presents The Weakest Link and A League of their Own and has appeared in a number of other shows making him a household name, ranted and complained about the many things in life which annoy him as part of his side-splitting set.

At one point he levelled with the Birmingham audience and told them. "I'm done. I'm retired".



Thankfully for his fans, Romesh wasn't talking about comedy or TV. He went on to share how now at the age of 46 he'd decided he had made all the friends he was ever going to and was not interested in making any more.

It was just one of many brilliant moments on a fantastic night for those in attendance at the Utilita Arena, who gave the comic a standing ovation at the end of his funny and at times foul-mouthed set. There was barely a quiet moment as the audience cracked up while Romesh shared with them his inner thoughts during his most hated social situations he's forced to endure and reeled off one annoyance after another. He poked fun at football fans, life coaches, couples he's forced to interact with and even his own fri.
