Infosys co-founder Narayana Murty and wife Sudha Murty’s damad ji, shri shri Rishi Sunak has conceded defeat in the general elections. The 44 year old will no longer be a resident of 10 Downing Street. The outgoing PM took over from Liz Truss in 2022, won his constituency, but his conservative government lost the election paving way for the Labor Party after 14 years.
The Labors won 410 seats, while the Conservatives clinched only 117, even as centrist Liberal Democrats bagged 70 seats. With the crushing defeat, about 250 Conservative MPs, including former PM Lizz Truss, were ousted from parliament. Sunak congratulated Labor Leader Keir Starmer on his victory.
