All eyes are on Grimsby today (Wednesday, June 12) as Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer visit to campaign across North East Lincolnshire and film a special Sky News programme. Throughout the day, the news channel will be focusing on Grimsby, with Kay Burley at breakfast, before Jayne Secker meets local residents ahead of the evening event. In the meantime, both leaders will be campaigning around the area as they aim to win votes in what is being seen as a key battleground in the upcoming general election.
Later on, between 5pm to 7.30pm, Sky News' lead politics presenter Sophy Ridge will host a special programme, before Sunak and Starmer go head-to-head at 7.30pm in 'The Battle For Number 10 - A Sky News Leaders Special Event', speaking for 45 minutes each about their plans for the nation's future.
