Rema ‘s first full-length studio album in two years is only days away. The Nigerian musician will follow up his 2022 debut Rave & Roses with Heis , set for release on Thursday, July 11. The record’s announcement arrives alongside the new single “Hehehe,” available now.

“Hehehe” captures Rema ‘s diabolical laughter as he brushes his critics to the side. “Monday morning, talking about me while I’m making money/Hehe-hehe-hehe-hehe-he/I’m not gonna take it easy on my hater,” he says at the start of the track over production that sounds fit for a Joker scene in a Batman film. The new single is the latest preview of Heis , though not the first.

Nearly two weeks ago, Rema shared his first release of the year, “Benin Boys.” The record, which features Nigerian musician Shallipopio, will also appear on the album.
