According to RBD’s lawyers, T6H and Citrin Cooperman — a professional services firm that acted as a business manager for the tour, and later conducted the financial audit — were the “only entities responsible for the tour payments.” Neither RBD as a whole, nor any of the individual members “had access to manage the money or make payments.” “Our goal has always been to resolve these discrepancies professionally,” the band’s statement continued.
“We remain committed to cooperating with all parties involved to achieve a fair and transparent resolution. Our integrity and the trust of our fans are paramount, and we will not rest until these matters are fully resolved.” T6H did not immediately return Rolling Stone ’s request for comment.
RBD was borne out of the popular Mexican telenovela Rebelde , which followed a group of teens who form.
