Actor turned politician Ravi Kishan recently emerged victorious as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur constituency. Ravi Kishan secured the victory by a significant margin as he defeated Samajwadi Party Kajal Nishad by over 1 lakh votes. Ravi Kishan was also a part of the cabinet as he attended PM Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Sunday (June 9).
Now, a video of the newly elected MP from the recent NDA meeting has surfaced online, and the actor-politician could be seen chewing on some 'unknown substance'. However, netizens reacted quickly to the viral video and quickly called out the actor for allegedly eating 'gutka' during the political meeting. A user lashed out at the actor and wrote, "Not right, he can chew anything outside the premise but should maintain the decorum of the forum he is in".
While another commented, "Zubaan kesari". However, some users also took a stand for the actor as there were no solid confirmations regarding the claims. One of them wrote, "Don't always judge other", while another called the viral clip "Edited".
- This is not the first time an eminent personality has been subjected to claims that invade their privacy. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ravi Kishan was last seen in Kiran Rao's directorial alongside Nitanshi Goel, Sparsh Shrivastava and Pratibha Ranta..
