The PS Plus Essential July 2024 free games lineup is almost upon us. Here's when you'll be able to download this month's games, and what those free titles will be. PS Plus continues to surprise us by doing the same thing it does every month, in a precedented move Sony has confirmed three new games to come to PS Plus Essential subscribers.
Given that the PS Plus Essential May 2024 lineup had a bonus game in the form of Destiny 2 : Lightfall and the PS Plus Essential June 2024 games came alongside the announcement of some bonus PS Plus Extra games, as well as PS2 and PSVR 2 games being added to the Premium lineup, this month seems pretty plain by those standards. This month, we're getting three games as part of the PS Plus Essential lineup, and to be honest, the offering this month isn't blowing us away. NHL 24 arrives this month, which isn't a bad pick considering it's less than a year old, but considering we just had EA FC 24 in May and F1 23 back in March , we're kind of getting tired of sports games on PS Plus.
Also arriving this month is Among Us (a game which is going for less than £5 / $5/ AU$6 on the PlayStation Store right now), and the best game to play on mute due to terrible dialogue Borderlands 3 . So overall, it isn't the best showing for PS Plus, but it's nowhere near the worst either.
