The 75-year-old monarch is believed to be once again encouraging his scandal-ridden brother to vacate the 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor , having previously suggested he move into Frogmore Cottage. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to reside at the cottage before their relocation to the US, maintaining possession of it until they were served an eviction notice last year.

Now, it appears to be Andrew's turn to vacate his Royal abode, with Charles allegedly warning him of severe repercussions should he choose to remain. Andrew, 64, is said to have a lengthy lease on the Royal Lodge. However, as King, Charles is ultimately accountable for the Royal household's finances and could opt to withhold funds from Andrew, potentially leaving him unable to cover the exorbitant annual maintenance costs of the Grade II-listed property, reports the Mirror .



The monarch is also currently footing the bill for Andrew's security, which amounts to £3million ann.
