Sian Welby has confirmed the gender of her unborn baby as she prepares to head on maternity leave. The presenter announced the news she and partner Jake Beckett are expecting their first child back in February. Sian announced the news live on the Capital FM Breakfast show alongside former host Roman Kemp and co-star Chris Stark.

I’m pregnant! I don’t know how I’ve managed to keep it from you for so long...
" She added at the time: "The lies, the deceit, the mocktails! I couldn’t wait to tell you. This is a whole new journey for me and I want to take you all on it with me, and don't worry I'm not going anywhere! This is going to be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to share it with you all." Sian said on-air that it has been "an absolute pleasure and honour to share this pregnancy with you all". She continued: "I'm at that point where I'm 38 weeks - I've got 11 days to go. "Before I go off on baby leave I've decided I want to share one more thing wit.
