The Telangana Cyber Bureau (TGCSB), has filed an FIR against YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu for making 'distasteful' comments in a video. The controversial clip featured a group of men giving a sexual colour to a father-daughter bond, leading to a significant online backlash. Following the uproar, Praneeth Hanumanthu issued an apology.

The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau is investigating the case and reported that all of Hanumanthu's phones were switched off, making it difficult to locate him. The incident came to light after actor Sai Dharam Tej flagged the video, tagging Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and urging him to take necessary action to prevent such horrific acts in the future. The official added that efforts were ongoing to arrest Hanumanthu.

"Thank you for bringing to our notice this issue @IamSaiDharamTej garu. Child safety is the utmost priority for our government. We will look into this incident and take appropriate action," the Chief Minister said on X.
