A well-known Indian restaurant which has been trading for two decades has announced its closure. Staff at the family-run Cinnamon Tree based in Treforest told customers the news in a social media post on Wednesday. The statement did not give reasons for the decision, but said it would shut by the end of June.
It comes seven months after the business first announced it would close, before it made a U-turn and declared it would stay open. The statement, posted on Wednesday, May 29 reads: "We've made the decision to close down the restaurant at the end of June. It's been an absolute pleasure to serve the wonderful people of Treforest and beyond over the years.
Come and give the restaurant one last visit before we leave. All spirits and liqueurs are 50% off until we close!"
