Fortnite Ranked mode replaced Arena as a means to get players into competitive, with tournaments being held for players in different ranks and the top competitors being able to take part in FNCS each season. While less popular than the core modes, the Ranked mode has become incredibly popular, with many preferring it due to it not having any AI players at higher ranks. Each season, Epic Games releases Ranked Quests which grant players with cosmetics, but so far there have been no skins given away for playing competitive Fortnite.
But, that could be set to change based on a brand new leak. Prominent that Lynx could be returning to the game as a Ranked reward skin. Trailblazer Lynx and Vix are two more variations that can be purchased in the Item Shop. It has been rumored since Ranked began that Epic Games would reward players with a free skin for reaching Unreal Rank to encourage players to get into competitive, but so far it hasn’t materialized.
