Children in India will not be growing up learning the English Pokémon names that we are familiar with through the Pokémon anime, as the Hindi dub of Pokémon Horizons: The Series on Hungama TV introduces regionalised Hindi names for Pokémon. Back in September 2023, Niantic and The Pokémon Company announced that over as part of the company’s localisation efforts in India. short’s Hindi dub first used these Hindi names in animated media.
