There’s no stopping Diljit Dosanjh! After creating history at Coachella and charming audiences on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the singer has now become the first Punjabi artist to fill up the Rogers Centre in Canada during his concert tour. The retractable roof stadium in Toronto, which can accommodate a whopping 49,286 people, was fully sold out, marking another milestone for the versatile artist. On Monday, both Diljit Dosanjh and Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shared glimpses of the concert on social media.

In a delightful twist, Trudeau made a surprise visit to Dosanjh ahead of the show. In a video shared by Diljit, the singer and the PM greeted each other with folded hands, followed by a warm hug. The duo then posed with Diljit’s entire team, shaking hands and sharing smiles all around.

In the video, Diljit’s team can be heard chanting his catchy line, “Punjabi Aa gaye oye (Punjabis are here)!” while cheering for the duo. Sharing the video on Instagram, Diljit wrote, “Diversity is Canada’s strength. Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau came to check out history in the making: we sold out the Rogers Centre!” Justin Trudeau also shared photos from the event on his Instagram.

The first photo shows the PM and Diljit greeting each other, while the second captures Trudeau meeting Diljit’s team. The third picture features the duo in a light-hearted conversation, likely swapping notes on how to rock a stadium and run a country. Trudeau's caption read.
