The Dancing Jug is a cocktail bar and restaurant offering live sports, quiz nights, karaoke, and a party atmosphere. Other Dancing Jug bars can be found at Hill, Bournemouth, and Charminster Road, Charminster. Now, an application has been submitted for a premises license in 2 Southbourne Grove.
The building used to belong to the former Lloyds Bank which closed in March 2021. When approached by the Daily Echo about the plans, Dancing Jug said: “All will be revealed when the time is right.” In the application, it has been requested that live , late-night refreshments, and alcohol sales be permitted from 10am – midnight, extending to 1.
