Catherine, Princess of Wales, made a rare public appearance with her sister, Pippa Middleton at Wimbledon. The former Kate Middleton attended the men’s singles final on Sunday, July 14 with her sister and her daughter, Princess Charlotte. This outing marked her second public appearance since she announced her cancer diagnosis in March , after joining her husband, Prince William, and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis at Trooping the Colour in June to celebrate King Charles III’s birthday.
Kate was photographed in the Royal Box at Centre Court at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club with her sister and daughter. At the event, Kate donned a purple dress with a nude handbag while Pippa opted for a pink floral dress paired with a nude clutch. Princess Charlotte sat between her mom and her aunt, wearing a navy blue and white polka dot dress.
At one point, Pippa and Charlotte were photographed sitting side by side, with Pippa smiling as her niece appeared to be talking to her. Pippa has remained largely out of the public eye since her sister’s health issues were made public, including a planned abdominal surgery in January followed by “a course of preventative chemotherapy.” Pippa and Kate’s brother, James Middleton, shared a touching message in March after the princess announced she was undergoing treatment for cancer, writing in the caption, “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together.
As a family, we will climb.
