EXCLUSIVE : Paramount Pictures has launched development on What Kids Want , a new feature scripted by the Like a Boss duo of Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly , sources tell Deadline. The film follows up the high concept comedies What Women Want (2000), starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt, and What Men Want (2019), starring Taraji P. Henson and Tracy Morgan, both of which were distributed by Paramount.
While the former centered on a man suddenly gifted (or cursed?) with the ability to hear the thoughts of women, the latter reversed the equation. The new film will, of course, involve a look into the minds of children.
