Orion Cast: Andrew McCarthy, Debby Ryan & More Join Sci-Fi Thriller Movie By The cast for the upcoming sci-fi thriller movie has officially enlisted former ’80s heartthrob (Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo’s Fire) and former Disney star (Jessie). Production on the film had already wrapped in New York City.
“The story centers around a heated interrogation between a U.S. Intelligence expert tasked to help an amnesiac astronaut recover his memory in order to determine ‘who’ or ‘what’ killed the rest of the crew before they crash landed back on Earth,” reads the film’s synopsis.
Who are in the Orion cast? In addition to McCarthy and Ryan, the Orion cast also includes Drew Van Acker (Pretty Little Liars), Karin Ann, Natalia Lesz (The Crown of the Kings), Theodora Miran and Danny Bisla (Bad Behavior). The film is directed by Jaco Bouwer from a screenplay written by Anne Vithayathil. It is produced by Van Acker, Elle Army, Scott Army and Sunil Perkash.
