As well as Bruce, the movie also starred Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber, the leader of the terrorists, Alexander Godunov as second in-command Karl, and Bonnie Bedelia as John's estranged wife Holly Gennaro-McClane. Die Hard is considered one of the best action movies of all time and was considered to have revitalised the action genre at the time.
