A MUM has been praised after sharing a genius hack to straighten out curling collars on school summer dresses WITHOUT having to get the iron out. There are few things more annoying than getting your daughter prepped for school, putting on her uniform and then realising the collar of her gingham dress needs an iron. But instead of racing to get the iron out, mum Nancy explained she just plugs in her straighteners instead.
In a video on her TikTok page, Nancy showed herself using a pair of straighteners on her daughter's collar. After getting them in position, she slowly started smoothing out the collar. Once she'd straightened one side, she moved onto the other - with the whole process taking a matter of seconds.
"Honestly one of the best uses of the straighteners," she wrote over the top of the video. "Save so much time and works so well!" And she added in the caption: "You’re welcome!
