OASIS icon Liam Gallagher was ready to Roll With It after closing the first night of this year’s TRNSMT with an Electric set. There had been huge anticipation for his headline slot — with revellers eagerly anticipating the chance to sing along to classic tracks like Live Forever, Supersonic and Cigarettes & Alcohol. Since Oasis disbanded in 2009, the bad-boy singer has landed four No1 albums of his own to go along with the seven he picked up with his old band. And the Glasgow venue was particularly appropriate after Oasis were signed up to Alan McGee’s Creation Records label following a famous gig at the city’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on May 31, 1993.
