NICKI Minaj has stepped out in Manchester after cancelling her gig last minute following her arrest in Amsterdam. The Starships singer, 41, wrapped up in a thick, hot pink, floor-length puffer coat with a matching beanie as she was seen in the city for the first time. The appearance came after she left thousands of fans devastated inside the Co-Op Arena in Manchester on Saturday, wh en she cancelled the gig at the eleventh hour.
Hours before, Nicki live-streamed her own arrest while at the airport after being accused of "carrying drugs” with her on the plane to the UK, something Nicki has denied. The rapper filmed Amsterdam Airport Schipol employees as she accused them of forcing her to send her bags through security a second time. Capturing the incident on Instagram Live, Nicki was informed she needed to go to the police station in the back of a van.
She later messaged fans on X (previously Twitter) to apologie. Nicki wrote: "Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you & all that is connected to you.
May you be blessed beyond your imagination. "I’m at the stock exchange hotel in Manchester I arrived a little over an hour ago. "After sitting in a jail cell for 5-6 hours, my plane still didn’t take off for another 20 mins once I boarded.
" She added: "Please please please accept my deepest & most sincere apologies. "I’ll find a way to not only make up the date with the performance but I’m going to create an added bonus for everyone that had a tick.
