Supermarkets are set to open LATER due to England versus Spain in the Euro 2024 final tonight. As Gareth Southgate's side face Spain in Berlin in Germany from 8pm tonight, Lidl has confirmed all its England stores will open one hour later on Monday, regardless of the match outcome. Lidl stores tend to open at 8am on Mondays so shoppers can expect a 9am opening time.

Branches will open and close as per normal trading hours on Sunday and you can check your local Lidl stores' regular opening hours by using the branch locator tool on its website. Tesco said it will shut 1,800 Express stores across the country at 7.30pm instead of the usual 10pm or 11pm so employees can watch the game.
