In the previous episode of Kaiju No. 8, a swarm of Kaiju attacked the Tachikawa Base. While Kafka Hibino was on the rooftop, Soshiro Hoshina alerted the officers of the emergency.
The episode reveals that Mina Ashiro and Hoshina gave Kikoru Shinomiya a new custom weapon, which she used to attack the enemies. Kaiju No. 8 episode 10 will continue with Hoshina’s battle with the intelligent Daikaiju.
Towards the end of the previous episode, the Daikaiju expanded in size, and its fortitude was revealed to be 9.0, posing a greater threat to Hoshina. With Hoshina’s life in danger, Kafka may be risking his life and compelled to transform into his Kaiju form.
