New reality series Buying London has been savaged by viewers after one critic said it was “probably the most hateable TV show ever made”. The series is the UK’s answer to real estate hit Selling Sunset, and follows Daniel Daggers and his luxury property company, DDRE Global. But it has been panned by critics, with reviewer calling it “hateable”, giving it a rare zero stars and saying it was “tired, tone-deaf and shamefully crass”.

Viewers have now agreed, with many saying it isn’t nearly as good as its US counterpart. After its debut, one posted a message on X calling it “absolutely s***”. Another stormed: “I’ve seen every Netflix series about real estate and I can say safely that #BuyingLondon is the most boring.



” One posted: “Usually I eat up any show about houses, Selling Sunset, Selling Tampa, Buying Beverly Hills? Love it! But #buyinglondon is insufferable.” Someone else remarked: “Love reality TV, enjoy watching selling sunset. Now there’s a Buying London.

It’s like watching paint dry. Characters flat, show is so weird & boring.” “Buying London is AWFUL,” said another viewer.

“Buying London is actually embarrassing, is this what London has to offer?” one baffled viewer asked. Someone else dismissed the programme as "utterly repugnant". "If Netflix can’t think of anything better to commission, it’s time to cancel my subscription,” they wrote.
