New Delhi: Following a gap of about 8 weeks from its theatrical run, Tovino Thomas’s Malayalam comedy-drama Nadikar is finally on its way to the OTT. According to the latest reports, the flicker is set up to make its digital debut on Netflix where it is expected to become available for watching on or around June 27, 2024. However, it is noteworthy to mention here that a subscription to Netflix’s services is a must for accessing the film on the platform.
Helmed by Lal Jr, Nadikar hit the theaters amid massive expectations on May 3rd, 2024. However, it remained unsuccessful in racking in positive reactions from cine-goers & ended its box office journey as a major commercial failure. The film’s underwhelming reception on the big screens also caused a major delay in its OTT release which is finally bound to happen on June 27th, 2024 as per the sources.
It will now be interesting to see how the OTTians treat the action-comedy on digital screens. Despite facing massive failure at the Box Office, actor David’s hardworking manager Paily (Suresh Krishna) uses his manipulative powers to convince a renowned director Koshy to make David a part of his upcoming ambitious project. However, Paily’s efforts go in vain as David, owing to his ego & arrogant personality, leaves the project midway, leaving the director furious & frustrated.
