They surprised listeners in March when they announced that they were ending “Lori and Julia.” They made the decision due to Barghini’s desire for more free time as well as the rigors of producing the show for more than 20 years. Station management offered Arneson, a familiar voice to MyTalk listeners after spending five years as a fill-in host, the job and set up meetings with several possible co-hosts.
