A woman took to Reddit to share the complexities of planning her wedding with divorced parents. Her parents split when she was two and both remarried by the time she was seven. She lost touch with her father at 11 but reconnected when she got engaged at 30.

While her sister remains distant from their dad, the Redditor values their improved bond. Tensions rose when her stepmother wanted a role in the wedding , potentially upsetting her mother.
