A CORK woman, who has gone viral with her mum on TikTok, told how the pair always get mistaken for sisters. Julie Haynes has created a storm on social media collaborating with her mum Paula who is turning 60 this year. Julie told The Irish Sun: “Anytime we are out and about, I introduce my mam as my mam.

“People are like no way, she has to be your sister.” It wasn’t before long that the pair were snapped up by a clothing website to do some collaborations. Julie said: “We did similar outfits, but different.



We wore similar dresses, my mum wore a longer one and I wore a shorter one. They both had the same pattern. That went viral.

” The TikToker explained how the videos work for such a wide demographic. She said: “I’m styled for my early 30s and my mum is dressed as a 60 year old. It was a really cool collaboration we done.

“On Instagram or TikTok, there’s a different range of ages. There’s kids from the age of eight right up to women that are 88.” The podcast host, who presents Left On Read , told how her mum gets involved in her shows live on stage.

It’s become a family affair with her brother Sean joining in on stage and in her videos. She said: “They had no problem getting involved, it was good craic. They loved getting involved with all the women in the audience.

It’s so funny.” Julie, mother to twins, praised her mum for all the support she gives her on screen and off screen. She said: “I'm on the road a lot with the podcast.
