Fans of the new series My Lady Jane are absolutely buzzing over the 'undeniable chemistry' between two lead characters. The fresh romantic period drama, now streaming on , whisks viewers away to an alternative Tudor reality. Forget what you know about history in this show, King Henry VIII's lad Edward dodges the grim reaper and tuberculosis, while Lady Jane Grey and her hubby Guildford dodge the executioner's axe, giving us a proper twisty tale.

Emily Bader steps into the shoes of Lady Jane, with Edward Bluemel playing her other half, Guildford Dudley. Their wedded bliss is a bit rocky though, as Jane clocks that Guildford morphs into a horse every single night. In the opening episode, Guildford offers Jane a way out of their marriage if she can sort his equine issue.



As the series trots over five more episodes, the sizzle between Jane and Guildford cranks up a notch, leading to them getting down to business. Things heat up when Jane quizzes her husband about ditching their divorce plans. He answers with a smooch and gets busy loosening her corset, reports .

Jane then voices her jitters about getting frisky, admitting she's not exactly clued up on the matter. "Do you think I'll like it? " she wonders aloud. "I tried finding out what it'd be like, I tried looking in books but there was.
