Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films have always believed in the idea of flirting with ambitious narratives, brimming with imagination and inventiveness. They are the pioneers of horror- comedy universe that has become extremely successful and popular over the years. Stree and Bhediya were lauded for their concept and contagious characters that stayed with audiences.

They have now expanded the universe with another film called Munjya . Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written (dialogue and screenplay) by Niren Bhatt, Munjya is a tale all the way from the mysterious and marvelous Konkan coast. And to give credit where it’s due, the film has been able to score at the ticket windows with some impressive VFX by Prime Focus Group.



Prime Focus Group has once again taken audiences to a different world with their mastery of VFX in Munjya. It took more than a year to create the eerie and mischievous protagonist from scratch using cutting-edge computer-generated imagery (CGI) for Munjya. The friendly and frightening creature has struck a chord with the audience and the footfalls and steady numbers are a testament to that.

The rich visuals only add extravagance and eeriness to a story that deserves to be seen. And the eponymous hero is India’s first CGI central character.
