The high street retailer has issued an urgent recall for its Chocolate Cornflake Mini Bites. It was discovered that the treats contain hazelnuts, oats and wheat - all which have not been declared on the list of ingredients.

An allergy alert posted to The Food Standards Agency (FSA) explained that this product is unsafe for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to any of these ingredients. The recall affects a 180g pack size, with a best before date of August 6, 2024. According to M&S' notice, the recall affects only "a small number of packs".



However, customers have since been urged not to consume the affected product, but to instead return it to store where it was bought from for a full refund. No other M&S products are said to have been affected by the recall. The retailer has also contacted the relevant allergy support organisations about the recall, whilst point of sale notices with further information have been provided to customers .
