Morrisons is bringing back free cardboard boxes to checkouts at all its UK stores for customers to use and take home. The traditional shopkeeping method has been rolled out by Morrisons this week in a major boost for shoppers. It comes after listening to its customers, with over two thirds (67 per cent) wanting boxes to be made easily available in store.
Morrisons is rivalled by the likes of Lidl , Aldi , Asda , Sainsbury's and the UK's largest retailer, Tesco . The service has been rolled out nationwide after listening to customers who wanted boxes to make a comeback. Boxes that would otherwise have been recycled will now be available at checkouts for free and be given a second life.
