BBC Morning Live has unveiled a brand new co-host amid a show shake-up and he is a very familiar face. The funnyman will begin his presenting duties alongside regular show star Gaby Roslin this Friday. Jason will feel right at home on the Manchester-based show thanks to being born in Salford and growing up in the city. He will also be seen on the programme a second time next week on Wednesday 3 July when he will be accompanied by Helen Skelton.
Speaking of signing up to the show, Jason said: “I’m delighted to have been asked to guest co-host Morning Live this week. "I always love supporting a Manchester based show and every time I’ve been on as a guest, the team have always been a real pleasure to work with. "I’m looking forward to bringing a little chaos to the sofa once we go live!” Morning Live's executive editor Emma Morris went on to say of his appointment: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Jason to the Morning Live team in the coming weeks.
