MOORHEAD — Writing enthusiasts and book lovers are in for a treat as nationally acclaimed authors Melissa Prusi and Steven Hopstaken join the Moorhead Friends Writing Group to host an exclusive book signing event Saturday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.

m at Words To Live By , 819 Center Ave. “Our event will offer a unique opportunity to meet the writers, get their books signed and engage in an intimate discussion about their latest works,” Chris Stenson, president of MFWG, said. MFWG released their third anthology, “Tales From The Water’s Edge,” on May 11.



“It is a captivating collection of stories beckoning readers to explore the liminal space where land meets water,” Stenson said. “Each piece transports readers to where human experience intertwines with the elemental forces of nature. These diverse works offer a poignant reminder of our deep and enduring connection to water.

” Hopstaken and Prusi are the authors of the "Stoker’s Wilde" trilogy from Flame Tree Press. Their trilogy – “Stoker’s Wilde,” “Stoker’s Wilde West” and “Land of the Dead” – has been praised by Publisher’s Weekly, The Library Journal, Booklist and more. Prusi and Hopstaken spent a brief time in Los Angeles, where they both worked for Warner Bros.
