Singer Mika Singh took to his social media and strongly condemned CISF personnel Kulwinder Kaur for her actions in slapping actress-politician Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport on June 6. In his post, Mika emphasised that such an incident reflects poorly on the entire Sikh community. He expressed his belief that Kaur should have addressed her grievances with Kangana outside her duty hours rather than resorting to violence while on duty.

Labelling the entire episode as 'disheartening', Mika underscored the primary responsibility of CISF personnel to ensure the safety and security of individuals, not to engage in physical altercations. He lamented the tarnishing of the community's reputation, which has been built on principles of service and protection.



Further, he also expressed concern that the incident might hamper the jobs of other Punjabi women. . In his statement, Mika clarified that he does not align himself with any specific political party and is merely speaking out against what he perceives as unjust or incorrect.
