Their relationship is still going strong, which Michael boasted about while he appeared on this week. He was asked by one of the hosts what happens when he and his wife play golf together and he loses. Michael bluntly answered: "Whip it out.



Drop the trow and whip it out." The crowd laughed in surprise, but this wasn't the first time the actor had admitted to the tradition when he lost on the green against his wife. In 2016 he admitted on The Graham Norton Show that Catherine makes him "take his pants off" if he didn't hit the golf ball far enough.

Then in 2023, The Guardian asked Michael to clarify that comment. "The rules are I have to whip it out if I don't hit it past the ladies' tees, which I manage most of the time," he said. While on The View, he shared how things have changed.

Michael said: "I’m going to be 80 now in September, so now I play off of ladies' tees, too. So I don’t have to do that anymore." Sara Haines asked what Catherine has to do if she loses, which made Whoopi Goldberg chime in: "I don't even want to know.

" While he appeared on the morning show, Michael also shared his thoughts about his fellow actor George Clooney writing an op-ed about wanting President Biden to step down. "This is such a tough one," he told the panel. "I adore the guy, you know 50 .
