Ahead of the school summer holidays, McDonald’s has announced the return of the £1.99 Happy Meal offer. From Monday, July 15, until Wednesday, July 30 via the McDonald’s App, families can purchase one £1.

99 Happy Meal per day at the discount price. The move is a 40% reduction in the average price of the Happy Meal. And to celebrate the arrival of the Despicable Me 4 film, McDonald’s has also partnered with ILLUMINATION on a Despicable Me 4 Happy Meal.



Available until August 27, each limited-edition Happy Meal will include one of twelve Despicable Me 4 toys or one of two books. You will be able to tackle Minion missions by scanning the QR code on the Happy Meal box. Available for around £3.

49 – or £1.99 through the McDonald’s app until July 30 – a Happy Meal contains a choice of fish fingers, Chicken McNuggets or Veggie Dippers with an apple and grape bag or carrot bag side, plus drink options including water, milk or Fruit Shoot. Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase the deal by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

The scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so the new limited-time Happy Meal offer will get you 199 points.
