A Married At First Sight star is set to go on trial as he pleaded not guilty to a drug trafficking allegation. Sebastian Guilhaus, who appeared on season nine of Married At First Sight Australia in 2020, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in a commercial quantity of a controlled drug. He appeared at South Australia's District Court on Friday, 24 May.

Guilhaus said he was "not guilty" after the charge was read out to him before Judge Paul Muscat. Guilhaus is facing the allegations following a police raid on his home in July last year. Officers allegedly seized around 1kg of meth, which has a street value of about $90,000.

During his court appearance this week, Guilhaus declined to make any comment upon his exit. The trial will begin on October 13, 2025, according to the Daily Mail. Back in February, Guilhaus appeared in the dock before Magistrate Mary-Louise Hribal at the Adelaide Magistrates Court.

His defence lawyer indicated he would enter pleas of not guilty. Guilhaus requested a variation of his bail conditions to allow him to use the second-floor gym at his apartment complex. Magistrate Hribal ordered a report to determine whether he could be monitored effectively while accessing the private on-site gym at his apartment.
