Mark Wright has paid a moving tribute to a beloved friend on social media. The 37-year-old former TOWIE star took to his Instagram to share a heartfelt post to mark the fifth year since the sudden passing of Justin Edinburgh. Justin was a football manager who previously played in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur.
Mark shared a recent clip from the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation Instagram page and poignantly wrote on his Instagram stories: "5 years gone, just like that. What you are doing guys, is so inspiring, after such heartbreak." The charity was founded in 2019, following the news of Justin's death, and raises funds to install defibrillators and essential CPR training in public places to improve survival rates.
Justin tragically died on 3 June 2019 following a sudden cardiac arrest while at the gym. He died at Basildon University Hospital five days later, aged 49, and left behind his two children and wife Kerri. Back in January 2023, Mark fronted a campaign for the charity promoting CPR awareness, which was produced by Shoot The Company.
Foundation CEO Charlie Edinburgh said at the time: “Prevention is our purpose, and educating the next generation of lifesavers is a priority of ours. Cardiac Arrest takes no prisoners, and we want to give people the skills and confidence to save someone’s life. "This is a powerful message that needs to be communicated clearly, far and wide.
This project allows us to do just that, so that we can prevent unnecessary death and imp.
