Maren Morris is celebrating Pride Month by coming out as bisexual. The 34-year-old singer spoke out in a post on social media months after finalizing her divorce from Ryan Hurd . The "My Church" songstress shared a collection of photos from her recent RSVP Redux Tour show in Phoenix, Arizona, on Instagram, where she proudly waved a rainbow flag on stage.

Morris stunned in a sheer, ruffled top with a black bra underneath and a pair of black pants. "Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+," she captioned the post. "Happy pride 🌈" Taking place every June, Pride Month celebrates the self-affirmation, dignity, equality and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.



The month-long celebration was given the name " Pride " to encourage those feelings as the community comes together to celebrate and bolster LGBTQ+ rights movements. The acronym stands for "lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning" and a number of other terms spanning a wide spectrum of sexuality. When ET last spoke to Morris in December , the artist said she was looking ahead to "a really empowering 2024" as she focused on putting herself first.

She also noted that she was working through changes in her personal life through music as she transitions away from the business side of the country music industry . "Elementally every sort of genre has been within me but country music is there forever, it's what I grew up on so you can't really scrub it out," she said of her next album. Regardi.
