Mamie Laverock's When Calls the Heart family is asking for well-wishes and support as the young actress is on life support and in critical condition following a fall . The 19-year-old's family revealed via a GoFundMe , that on May 26, Laverock fell five stories while in a Vancouver hospital. "We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories," the update read.
"She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support." According to the actress' parents, she was originally rushed to a Winnipeg hospital on May 11 by her mother, Nicole Compton.
