ACTOR Mamie Laverock is said to be in extreme pain following intense surgery which left her shattered, according to her family. The 19-year-old actress is best known for her role as Rosaleen Sullivan in the Hallmark Channel series, When Calls The Heart . Mamie sustained several serious injuries after she fell five stories from a balcony walkway.

Her parents , Rob and Nicole Compton, say she was taken from a secure unit of a hospital to the balcony where the accident happened. Now, the star has undergone surgery to help injuries which seemed to go well, despite her intense pain. Her family provided fans with a social media update on her problems and said she is fighting.



"She has undergone two 11 hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three hour surgery and another surgery today," her family wrote on Instagram. "We have nothing but gratitude for the doctors and nurses who have been exemplary in her care since May 26." The family emphasized that Mamie still has a long way to go until she is recovered.

They added she was "Doing well comparatively to when she arrived," and said she survived the "Extensive surgeries." "She is enduring tremendous pain and continues to not give up," the update read. "We can only hold onto the miracles of each day and continue to thank everyone for their prayers and marvel at the miracles of her story.
