Madonna is being sued by a male fan for allegedly staging a sweaty pornography-style show. The Queen of Pop, 65, is facing the suit from Justen Lipeles, who grew infuriated after watching the ‘Material Girl’ singer’s ‘Celebration Tour’ show in Inglewood, California, on March 7 – and says there should have been a warning about its content. In court papers obtained by , Lipeles also says Madonna’s gig at the Kia Forum started more than 90 minutes late and complains the venue was boiling hot as the singer allegedly demanded the air conditioning be turned off.
Taking aim at being “forced to watch topless women on stage simulating sex acts” during the concert, he states in his filing: “Forcing consumers to wait hours in hot, uncomfortable arenas and subjecting them to pornography without warning is demonstrative of Madonna’s flippant disrespect for her fans.” Lipeles is accusing Madonna and gig promoter Live Nation of six offences: breach of written contract, negligent misrepresentation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false advertising, negligence/negligent infliction of emotional distress and unfair competition. Lipeles is demanding a jury trial, arguing complainants are entitled to compensatory damages.
