Lucifer star Tom Ellis is the latest big name to join the cast of Netflix's adaptation of Richard Osman's best-selling novel The Thursday Murder Club. He joins a star-studded cast including national treasures Helen Mirren and Ben Kingsley, former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan and British acting legend Celia Imrie, with the film being helmed by Harry Potter director Chris Columbus. also previously confirmed that former Doctor Who actor David Tennant, The Crown star Jonathan Pryce, Star Wars actress Naomi Ackie, Line of Duty's Daniel Mays and Harry Potter actor Henry Lloyd-Hughes would all appear in the film.

Netflix has now announced three more exciting additions to the cast: Oscar nominee Richard E Grant, Doctor Who actress Ingrid Oliver and Tom. Geoff Bell, Paul Freeman and Sarah Niles will also appear in the adaptation. Fans were delighted to see Welsh actor Tom land another major role after his popular fantasy drama ended on a high three years ago.
