's Sammy Root declares himself as "very single" right now - after parting ways with his co-star Jess Harding shortly after they left the villa. The TV star, who won last year's show, is on "happier terms" with his co-star ex now and is "way past it". Jess has also now moved on with her new fella, Sam Quinn, who Sammy has a surprising connection with.
He told us: "I can't remember the last contact we had but like, in terms of talking. We don't talk now, but if I saw her, I'd always say hello, like there's no animosity there. Her new boyfriend is from my area and we've got mutual friends and stuff.
And like at the end of the day, I feel like I'm way past all that now." Jess has since shared some loved-up snaps with her new man on social media and first confirmed she was in a new relationship in March during a Q&A on Instagram. Whereas, Sammy revealed he is more than happy being "single Sammy" as he's been back-to-back busy.
When asked if he had any villa regrets, Sammy revealed he stands by every choice he made - because let's face it, he might not have won if he had done anything differently! Sammy added: "I've always said before I went into the villa, I'm gonna be completely real and do everything exactly how I would do it. So I have no regrets. So if I changed anything, I wouldn't have been being me so.
