LOVE Island's Ellie Jackson revealed a secret family connection to a Gavin and Stacy star. In tonight's Unseen Bits the girls hung around in the villa garden and did impressions of Nessa, played by Ruth Jones , from the hit sitcom. To their astonishment, Uma Jammeh had no idea what the programme was, leading them to churn out even more of Nessa's catchphrases including "what's occurring?".
Welsh lass Ellie Jackson then revealed she has a link to the famous actress. She said: "I've got family connections to Nessa." The other girls exclaimed: "No way!" Matilda asked: "Can you set us up with a meet and greet?" Jessy added: "Roast dinner with Ruth Jones on a Sunday.
" Casa Amor girl Ellie was dumped from the villa on Movie Night along with partner Trey Norman. She and the rest of the girls will no doubt be looking forward to the next Gavin and Stacey Christmas special which is currently in the works. Writer and star James Corden , 45, announced earlier this year that it would return for its last ever episode .
The script is being kept under lock and key, though James admitted the first draft was complete. Speaking on Capital Breakfast, he said: "It's written right but now we're doing rewrites. So we have to, we have to remove some time, we have to change some bits around.
"So we've been doing that, it's quite tough because Ruth’s in Sister Act over in the West End at the minute, and I'm doing The Constituent at the Old Vic. "So we've been doing quite a bit of writing in dressing.
