The ITV2 programme returned to our screens this week with Maya Jama introducing new singletons into the villa. However, it wasn't long before there was a surprise twist as The Only Way Is Essex and reality TV icon Joey, 33, waltzed into the villa as a bombshell at the end of the episode.
While many were shocked to see a proper celebrity on the dating competition , others were 'creeped' out by it as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their concerns about his age. The women that were introduced on Monday are between the ages of 24 and 29 while some of the men are 21. In previous seasons, viewers have seen contestants as young as 18 years old enter the competition.
