LOVE Island fans were left furious when Joey Essex told his ex to shut her mouth during an explosive argument at Movie Night. Grace confronted the TOWIE star after seeing footage of how he behaved when bombshell Jessy entered the villa. Joey was exposed as a player in the clips that showed him telling both Grace and Jessy that he was uninterested in the other girl.
Moments after reassuring Grace that he only had eyes for her, Joey went on to take his relationship with Jessy to the next level by kissing her on the terrace. Grace was furious to see the way he had lied to both of them, and insisted that she had been the one to end the relationship because she saw right through him. When he tried to protest that it was him who dumped her, she ended up shouting "Bore off man!" He retorted "Bore off yourself," before claiming that his romantic relationship with Grace was completely done before he moved on to Jessy.
He finished off the rant by exclaiming: "Shut your mouth!" Audiences at home were left appalled to see the 33-year-old man speaking so disrespectfully to his ex on live television. One person called him "vile", adding: "Joey showing his true colours. A man of his age talking to Grace like that??!" Another agreed: "You can always tell a guy's true self when he’s talking about an ex or arguing with a girl.
" A third chimed in: "Joey showing his true colours. Obviously used to speaking to girls like that." Joey and Grace actually dated each other in real life before reconn.
